The South Tyrolean Mountain and Cave Rescue Service is also equipped to handle white-water rescue.

For this highly specialised type of operation, the CNSAS has a canyoning team.

This group consists of approx. 10 mountain rescuers with their own training and equipment.

Although there are few operations in this area, the CNSAS rescuers are nevertheless on standby.
